    The model of the turbine engine was made of ABS material The Engine has two independent rotors with segments blades. The whole model uses 4 bearings and the printed parts were conected by glue.

    This model was properly prepared in the form which shows how the engine works. This turbine engine reveals possibilities of Jelwek company and presents that we can make whole devices, which require assembly.

    Applied technology

    FDM
    Technology FDM,  which stands for Fused Depositions Modeling is one of the additive methods of manufacturing. It is based on plasticizing polymers with high temperature and fusing layer upon layer to up, until we receive the finished model.
     
    FDM alowes us to use many of materials. Some of then is strong and hard, some sofl and flexible. There are also materials, for example ones that after printing look like wood.
